Privacy policy

This policy explains how the AKIRA Austral project team collects, uses, shares and protects the personal information you give us through akiraaustral.com.au and our advertising. AKIRA Austral is developed by Impressive Property Developments and LAANDED Property Group and sold by Impressive Property Sales. In this policy, “we” and “us” means that project team. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you enquire, we collect:

• your name, mobile number and email address
• your answers to our questions: what you are looking for, your land budget, the lot size you want and when you are looking to buy
• how you found us, such as the advertisement or link you clicked

When you visit the site, our hosting provider and advertising tools also collect technical information, such as your device, browser, the pages you view and an approximate location drawn from your IP address.

Why we collect it

• to contact you about AKIRA Austral and answer your enquiry
• to understand which lots and price ranges suit you
• to tell you about AKIRA Austral and, if you agree, future projects by the same team
• to measure and improve our advertising

You do not have to give us your details, but without them we cannot respond to your enquiry.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry goes to the sales team at Impressive Property Sales, who will contact you. We also use service providers to run this site and our advertising, and they may handle your information on our behalf:

• our marketing agency, Alan Place, which manages the site and the advertising
• Netlify, which hosts the site and receives the enquiry form
• Google, whose Google Sheets service stores the enquiry register
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), whose advertising tools measure visits and enquiries

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and the Meta pixel

This site uses the Meta pixel, a small piece of code that tells Meta when someone visits the site or sends an enquiry. It helps us show our advertisements to people likely to be interested and measure whether they work. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you, under its own privacy policy. You can manage how Meta uses this information in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser.

How we keep it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Access to the enquiry register is limited to the people who need it to respond to you and to manage the project’s marketing. We keep your information only for as long as we need it for these purposes or as the law requires.

Your choices

• You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Tell the person who calls you, or reply to any email from us asking to be removed.
• You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it.
